Faster and easier drive than St Catherine. I recommend these dive sites.

They are all easy and not terribly deep.

What do you say?

Sounds good. Weather & tides could be limiting factor, but why not do it if the conditions are right?

I'd be dead keen. Smile

Have you dived these, euan? If so, you could give us the inside take on which is best.

I don't suppose one of them might be suitable for Saturday?

have you had a look at the conditions for sat for the east chuck?

looking at the bbc i see the forcast is for northerly brisk on thurs, easterly mild on fri and swinging to a southerly brisk on saturday.
sunday is southeasterly so if as is normal the weather happens quicker than the bbc predict then the wind may have swung east by the saturday.

basically i think it could be ok but i have only looked at the basic bbc site for aberdeen. if you have more accurate sites then i'll go with you, its certainly not a guaranteed dive.

oh aye half ten is low tide so if the sites are tidal then they wouldnt be too hot either.

will go and look at the links now.

cheers

just had a look at the surf website magic seaweed and they are happily saying that saturday looks like an easterly 5.5meter swell, they will exaggerate in the high swell direction but thats not a good sign.

i'm still keen to try the easerly dive myself though.

cheers

You could try phoning Coldingham dive shop: they're good at giving up to date diving conditions for St Abbs 01890 771 6699
