I fancy going out for some diving with the MV Topline from St Abbs some time. Apparently, it's not necessary to fill the whole boat: he even sails with only 2 divers on occasion and still only charges £10 per person per dive.



It could be a dead easy way to get some boat diving done with minimum hassle. For example if you click here you can see the availability of the boat for this weekend coming.

I've heard good reports about this boat from other divers. The skipper is the helmsman/mechanic of the RNLI's Inshore Lifeboat at St.Abbs.

Seems almost too good to be true: needs checked out in my opinion. Wink

yeah i would save the hassle of the long walk up and down the cliffs, is this the boat that we saw last weekend chuck?

I don't think so, joe. That one had a diver's lift at the stern.

Anyway, I agree that it would be a nice way to dive that part of the coast. Will have to get you qualified soon so that you're not limited to 20m (although most of the scenic dives around there are shallower than that).

yeah i can't wait to be qualified AGAIN yay. have to see how much stuff i can get done at the weekend

Wait a minute...

If he's an RNLI guy then your trip could be ruined at any time when he steams back to shore to save a drunken yachty!
