Great to know that you'll be joining the club: you'll be most welcome regardless of which qualification you have. We have lots of members with PADI training (including the odd ex-diving officer or two I think )
Feel free to ask any questions on here about the club or even Stirling in general: we're generally a pretty helpful bunch
Take care & we hope to see you at Freshers' Week _________________ skål charlie
Yeah, constructive criticism and the like but yeah, hi, welcome almost aboard. You can stay as PADI I believe, becoming a Rescue Diver beforehand would be great. Or you could do a crossover to ScotSAC with your Open Water which may be handy if you are here for 4 years.
Is this correct dudes? _________________ "The black will be grey and the white will be grey

Hello folks, I've been invited to join your forum so here I am.
Many of you will have met me, but for those who haven't I'm not really a member of you club, but I'm a Regional Coach for SSAC and Stirling University is one of the branches I have responsibility for. Your BDO, Sam is still the boss in terms of diving, but I'm here to support the branch with any aspects of training and diving required, including countersigning of logbooks, recommending for Instructor courses, performing instructor assessments and so on.
If you've any questions about the training, diving, SSAC etc, then feel free to give me a shout. andy@scotsac.com or via Sam.
