Mid-semester weekend 1

awesome weekend away with the SUSAC crew!! nice wee chalet, good banter, good diving, much hilarity, crap navigation, dude with the bends, lots of beer and wine, good weather (most of the time), Keith's cooking, some very dodgy headgear...this trip had it all and more!!

hope the 2nd weekend is as good!!

So many questions... so little time!

I was diving at Hellesøy tonight which means Hell Island! The air temp was 17 degrees C as the 15 of us left port in the boat. Water temp was 4-6 C though... I've ordered a new hood as I got an icecream forehead near the end of the dive Surprised

Stayed in puffin, really nice.

yeh Pippa texted that Gordan manny on the way home and apparently he was ok, just had to stay overnight in the hosp.

It was a great weekend...I just wish that I could be going again this week ! The photos have been sent to Scotty. Most of them were taken by someone else so I'm not taking the blame (Tinky-Winky, Dot, et al !!) Laughing

We should do this again during the summer when we can get a barbi going. The chalets were very, very good and I would certainly be happy to stay there again.
Glad to hear that the guy that took the bends is ok.
Am looking forward to hear how weekend 2 went (I'm sure that the food will have been significantly better !!)

Hey Keith, While I remember you left a white top behind in one of the chalets so I'll bring it to the next meeting for you when i'm back from Orkney. Probably be tuesday 15th April.

As I recall, Dot can do some amazing things in chalet kitchen. But then, it's been a year so my memory may be dimming. Smile
