house reef, HundvågHad a choice tonight... diving or underwater rugby... the former won this timeBoat was out of action (my jinx of dive boats maybe  ) so we just jumped into the water at the dive club (which is 10 min from my flat).
First impression... sparkling clear viz... but... cold cold cold! 
Followed a pipe (a bit like the Kintyre, gus) down to about 20m. Lots of wrasse, pristine edible crabs, squatties, scallops. Very relaxed dive as the good viz allowed us to spread out nicely. Temp was 5 C for the whole dive & my 3mm gloves just weren't up to the job! Thankfully my suit kept me dry. My new braces (DW fitted 'em for free) means that it actually fits me now... should have got 'em years ago! 
Came out by climbing up the boat's ladder & onto the quay then into big tub of FW to rinse kit followed by filling cylinder (if it's steel etc etc) from air bank. Their club house is amazingly well equiped (including accomm). There is a realistic possibility of you guys being welcome here... several Danish uni trips in the past apparently. For me to join club costs 35 quid a year plus 25 quid for limitless air fills. Club is really active: boat diving every Wed evening & Sunday + whenever anyone else fancies taking the boat out. Meant to be great wrecks around including loads of ships, a midget U-boat & full-sized ones. Might fulfill my ambition of diving a sub yet! Guys asked me of my impression. "Amazing viz" I said. They laughed, saying that it was poor compared with their usual sites. I was relieved to find that they thought it was cold too.  I've ordered some 6mm Poiseidon mitts which are meant to be the canine's gonads for cold water diving.

Yeah, Scotty, see would be good to see some SUSACers over here. 
I forgot to state that I completed 7 days underwater during the dive.
