good stuff, i also have not seen a lumpsucker in the flesh before.

joe, its a lumpsucker, as the title of the post indicates, have a look in a book if you are confused.

thanks for the feedback guys: the colours were absolutely amazing: very vibrant purple eyes. It looked like a tropical species.

Yes well looked it up on the interweb. Seems this critter must be a male and more than likely protecting the eggs in the kelp. Very interesting.
