Mentorships!Hi divers all,
I've moved around a bit since last we talked and am now currently occupying Kansas for at least the next four years. Yes, I'm in vet school and am somewhat scared about the whole thing.
As part of my course, I have to spend at least a week shadowing a non-traditional vet and it occurred to me that an aquatic vet might be very interesting and informative. Does anyone on here know of someone who's working with marine life in a clinical setting who might be interested in letting me follow them around for a few weeks?
I'm given quite a bit of latitude as to who I can choose and where I can go, though my uni has the final say in any mentorship. So far they've only stipulated that it has to be a licensed veterinarian and that I complete a list of required activities (palpations, etc).
