Qualified Mid-SemesterHello,What do you guys think to a qualifieds mid semester trip, or just long weekend. what do you guys think of Loch Fyne dive charters (The one we were supposed to go on this weekend but it fell through). I met the guy yesterday at St. Catherines and he seemed really dead on. He's just moved up to Tarbert and is starting out but it sounds really good. For £40 you get two boat dives, Fills and one nights accomodation. Accomodation will be basic but there is a dry room, and (for me anyway) the jewel in the crown is that he said he would get his wife to give us a lift in the mini van to the pub then pick us up at closing time. He also hires out kit and is able to repair stuff if need be. Obviously if we want in then booking early is a priority but as mid semester isn't until 25th october i guess we have a wee bit of time to faff. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2B4lEzJzuE What do you guys think? I would certainly have been up for it but I'm flying to China on the 25th and won't be back until the 31st. If the dates change at all, please let me know as I'm up for anything where someone else drive me to / picks me up fom the pub! |

I'm free on the weekend of the 25th need to be in glasgow on the sun. could dive on the sat though. |

I'm going to pencil this in for us on monday, for the first weekend i.e. the friday and saturday. There are eight places available. So then: 1. Me 2. Keith 3. Joe 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. Anyone else? Ben? Dot? Euan? nae bother if we can't fill spaces, i'm sure we can get folk from Strathclyde uni. Frazer |

yeah we can still go, but also i was keen to get onto the boat, so i would be happy diving both weekends if folk wanted to go onto the boat too |
