I'd heard that the Galloway divers go to the Clyde & Lochs Long & Fyne as the diving in the SW isn't too hot (silty & shallow). 
I'm prepared to be proven wrong though as we love that part of the country.

they do Loch Ryan a lot...my big cousin Fraser has dived there (so did not know he dived until like a month ago  )
they go down to port logan too... think i'm going for adventure dives with one of the Stranraer lot in summer! |
