The wreck of the Akka

Dived the Akka in the Clyde on Saturday.

Wild weather but a great dive.

Blogged it here.

Nice blog McG

I have two of these but have never played with 'em, may do soon tho.

4-5m viz! cool.
I did this wreck with Ed Kennedy and saw him twice on the dive!

Tell me, does your rebreather buddy carry any redundancy with him?
I saw one dude here with a second mini RB as back-up. It's the redundancy that makes me think I should stick with OC. However it's the 2 hour deco stops that lean me toward Rb's!! Ah choices. There may be a gue: www.gue.com instructor down here soon.

Anyhoo, Akka is a sweet dive, huge ship

Yeah, open circuit 7L ali. Think that most of the RB boys use OC bail-outs. My buddy was a very eminent cave diver: written a book on French cave diving. Surprised
