Wastwater and Devils bridge

Was up in the lakes on sunday with mel n kids, took some gear with us. Dives devils bridge near carnforth, rather a very short dive but a bit of fun. Dive is about 20M long and 5.5 deep. Swim a narrow channel up current under the bridge to the waterfalls. Once there drift back down to the entry point. Not a lot to see, but something different all the same, so many divers you could have walked across their tanks Smile.
Wastwater, went in at the pinacles, couldn't find the line or the divers memorial, just found a post that I think had the line on. in shallower water plenty of nice green weed, banks steeply down towards whats probably a Crevase to the center of the earth. Depth picks up real quickly, the vis was realy good as long as the foot of silt was avoided, seriously spooky lunar landscape Smile

yer charlie, sure have. Like diving in a bathtub. Actualy its more like the shape of a sink. The toys are far to small to make it interesting. Good for training I guess but I was bored out of my brain. Stoney was a lot more interesting as the toys were a better size, i.e. the boats are bigger than rubber dingys. Have you dived the pinnacles in wastwater? I'm trying to find the correct entry point. Peoples instructions are incredibly vauge. If any one can indicate the correct entry point using ordenance survey or google earth I'd be greatly appreciative. As far as I can work out I was way off. I should have been somewhere maybe half a mile east.
