Dunno, I got annoyed after the fifth book and stopped really following the series. I probably will pick it up again just to finish it but I think it lost the charm of the original books. Harry is really defined in terms of Voldemort. With Voldemort gone, Harry would be purposeless in a literary sense. Thus, Harry will have to undergo some sort of death (literal or metaphorical) before the series ends. One just wonders if Rowling has the guts to actually bump him off for good.

Okay enough of the purposeless 1 am rants. Wink

Ron and Hermione are bound to get it on. They've been working up to it since the first film (the books have been more subtle).

I still don't think Dumbledore could have been that wrong about Snape.....I think there could be some twisting and turning in that one before the end......

This is all a bit off topic - however it's definately more interesting than the original subject........

All very interesting I'm sure, but when are their birthdays for the SUSAC calendar? Surprised

Incidentally, Sarah, there is no "a" in definitely Exclamation

Leave the cheerleader alone Chuck, she's trying her best.

Anyway, I was thinking, wouldn't it be possible for someone to get the book as soon as it's out, flip to the end and post a list of the dead on this forum? Can you block such stuff Chuck? Shocked

Harry Potter's birthday is 31 July, 1980. Ron Weasley's birthday is 1 March, 1980. Hermione Granger's birthday is 19 Sept, 1979. Dumbledore was born c. 1840. Snape was born 9 Jan. 1958 or 1959. Do you want any more? I could probably find them...

If I could, do you honestly think that any of your posts would appear here! Wink

Perhaps I should clarify. Rowling has said that the first book was set in 1991. It makes sense. They talk about thing happing in the early 40s as being "50 years ago" meaning that the speaker must be in the early 90s. Smile Don't worry, I haven't actually given this that much thought. It's amazing how many people have and then posted their findings online. I wish I had that much free time.
