|

Hi all - only a few views in the 'For Sale' section, so I thought I'd repost in here... If there is a mailing list for SUSAC, could someone circulate this please? Thanks!
Hi SUSAC,
I work at the University, in the School of Biological and Environmental Sciences. I've done quite a bit of diving, mostly abroad, but I bought a drysuit with a view to diving more in the UK. Due to other hobbies, work and family, it's hardly been used - I think it's been underwater 4 times... I've looked after it, it's seals and zips etc - so it's basically 'as new'.
Anyway - I really can't find time to use it - it just sits in the cupboard. I need to find it a new home, so thought I'd ask for sensible offers on here before putting it on eBay. It is:
Otter 'Skin' membrane drysuit, in black (read more http://www.drysuits.co.uk/index.htm)
Sized 'S-M-L' which roughly means it will fit an average, reasonably fit bloke. I think the size range is in the region 9-11 stone, 5"8 - 5"11, 34-38" chest.
It has an inlet valve on the chest and a shoulder auto-dump
The price for these new is £650, and this is 'as new'. All neck/wrist seals are still tight and it is dry as a bone.
I can also include the inlet hose, a polar bear undersuit, thermal socks, hood and gloves.
Just what you need to dive in Scotland really!
If you'd like to make me an offer then please reply to this thread, or ideally email my work email address, which is bd4@stir.ac.uk
Thanks!

I've let the secretary know to circulate it.
It certainly looks like a good suit although i'm not sure if anyone's looking for a suit at the moment.
Best of luck _________________ It'll be great having a black US President. I can't wait to see the White House on 'MTV Cribs.' |

Hi Ben
Not sure anyone on here will have the best part of 600quid to drop on a drysuit!
You may be better to try one of the other dive forums like congeralley or finstrokes.
it is a cracking suit though!! maybe you should just keep it and come diving!! |
